Oats Tikki Recipe – Prepare Healthy and Tasty Oats Tikki quickly

Oats Tikki Recipe

Oats Tikki Recipe

Ingredients

  • Oats (2 cups)
  • Potato (2 pieces)
  • Lemon juice (2 teaspoon)
  • Red chili powder (3 teaspoon)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Coriander powder (2 teaspoon)
  • Cumin powder (2 teaspoon)
  • Water (as required)
  • Coriander leaves (Few Branches)
  • Oil (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Take a thick pan and lightly roast oats on medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. Dry and grind oats and make powder.
  3. Boil potatoes and peel and mash them.
  4. In wide vassal take mashed potatoes and add oats powder.
  5. Add salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, chili powder, chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix them all well.
  6. Make dough and if required add little water, try to use minimum water and knead hard dough.
  7. Take one dough ball and roll it it’s hard to give it circle shape but just try to roll thick circle.
  8. Take cookie cutter or any mould to give shape and cut it in a shape.
  9. Heat tava or non-stick pan and grease it with little oil, try to avoid more oil.
  10. Put as many tikki as possible on pan and fry them on medium flame till they become golden brown in colour.
  11. Apply little oil on the other side and turn tikki.
  12. Fry them till become golden brown in color.
  13. Oats Tikki are now ready.
