Vegetable Soup Recipe – Guide to prepare healthy and yummy Vegetable Soup

Vegetable SoupVegetable Soup is one of the most healthiest of the soup dishes. It can be made tastier too if cooked and prepared properly.

You can add as many vegetables you like and use your experience and knowledge to make it better and healthier.


I usually make it once a week to be fit myself and keep my loved ones healthy.

Vegetable Soup Recipe

Vegetable Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • Tomato (3 pieces)
  • Carrot (2 pieces)
  • Bottle guard (200 grams approx)
  • French beans (50 grams or 10 to 15 pieces)
  • Parwal / potol / pointed guard (1 piece)
  • Cluster beans / gavar (50 grams or 10 to 15 pieces)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Cumin seed powder (2 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Butter (2 teaspoon)
  • Water (3 cups)
  • Fresh cream (3 teaspoon) (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and chop all the vegetable except tomatoes.
  2. Pressure cook all the vegetables for 3 whistles.
  3. Peel the boiled tomatoes and take all boiled vegetables in the mixer jar.
  4. Make fine puree of vegetables and add water and mix them all well.
  5. Discard scrap with the help of strainer.
  6. Heat butter in the pan and add mixed vegetable puree.
  7. Stir and add salt, cumin powder, black pepper powder.
  8. Boil for 5 minutes. stir occasionally in between.
  9. Add fresh cream and stir and boil it for 1 more minute.
  10. Soup is now ready.

Notes

You can adjust vegetables as per your taste, preference and availability, you can add more vegetables like pumpkin, cauliflower etc (try to avoid lady finger and bitter gourd)
