  • In sliced onion, add chickpea flour, salt, red chili powder,cumin seed powder and turmeric  powder and mix all dry ingredients.Onion Pakoda Recipe

  • Fry Pakoda till it becomes crispy and light brown in color.Onion Pakoda Recipe
  • Your crispy Onion Pakoda is ready to serve. You can enjoy it with tea or with Green Chutney or Tamarind Chutney.

Ingredients

  • Onion (4 pieces)
  • Chickpea flour / Besan (1 cup)
  • Red chili powder (2 teaspoons)
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • Cumin seed  powder (2 teaspoons)
  • Turmeric powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Water (1 & 1/2 cup ) (approx)
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice onion.
  2. In sliced onion, add chickpea flour, salt, red chili powder,cumin seed powder and turmeric powder and mix all dry ingredients.
  3. Add water as required to make Pakoda batter, batter should be little thicker.
